About UnitEd
Quality Education, is central to sustainable development worldwide. While conflict and missing funds for education cause a problem, another immense problem is the lack of teachers in many regions of the world. The shortage of teachers in many countries leads to unqualified personnel or volunteers taking over teacher roles. Although countries have laws on career paths needed for teachers, people with no background or qualification to teach are working in schools.
With UnitEd (United Education) we want to build a platform with courses, a resource for those unqualified teachers, to refer to and learn from. To provide basic tools to assist them, their lessons and the children they teach. Since this platform is supposed to be useful for people worldwide. we want to build it by talking to teachers around the world about their jobs and which knowledge every teacher should be equipped with. The input gathered will be the basis for the development and structure of the course and its content.
UnitEd is not about getting official certificates, it is about making sure the free resources and knowledge are out there.

Fini
The Founder
I am Fini, i grew up in Germany and have a professional background in international education.
I have a big passion for sustainable development and human rights. Having experienced education systems from countries on various continents personally, I learned about their differences and saw the important role teachers can play in kids lives.
Other than that i am a travel enthusiast and love to be outside, meet people and try foods from all over the world.

Co-Founder
I truly believe that the most important job on this planet is being a teacher. The reason is simple: they shape future generations.
I personally migrated from Iran for education, and because I understand its importance, I am here to make a difference and help make things easier for future teachers. I even had a small chat with Fini about the fact that nobody is going to read this—if you do, please drop me a line on LinkedIn.
When I'm not working on this project, the chances are I'm sailing somewhere in the ocean!
